Rushing to See Art
We’re getting busier and busier in our lives, to the point where we seem to be hurtling out of control. With the help of the camera, I’ve tried to capture that momentum in this series of photographs. The average time spent in front of a work of art in a museum is brief (estimated to be no more than 30 seconds). As I’ve visited museums around the world, I’ve photographed people as they scurry from exhibit to exhibit, and later unbeknownst to them, they are morphed into works of art themselves.
